The Legal Framework

The activity of CREDINS is being regulated by the Law No. 8365, dated 02.07.1998 “On Banks in the Republic of Albania”, Law No.8269, dated 23.12.1997 “On Bank of Albania” and Bank of Albania Regulation “On Granting of Licence For the Conduct of Financial Activities by Non – Bank Subjects in the Republic of Albania”, approved by the decision Nr. 26, dated 18.03.1999 of the Supervisory Board of the Bank of Albania.

Credins does exercise its activity under the Licence No.04, date 13.06.2001, issued by the Bank of Albania.

As followings, are the activities, which the Credins is licensed for:

1. to give loans
2. to carry out both domestic and international payments
3. to intermediate to monetary transactions (including foreign currencies)
4. to issue guarantees
5. to serve as an agent or financial consultant.(not including services forseen to the points 3/a and 3/b of the Article 26 of the Law “On Banks in the Republic of Albania”)

The Licence is not a time limited one and is not transferable.
